UZWEI wins Dieter-Baacke Award in the category "Intercultural and International Projects

On Friday, November 13th, the exhibition "Recht und Würde" of the UZWEI at the Dortmunder U won a Dieter-Baacke Award in the category "Intercultural and International Projects"!

The Dieter Baacke Prize presents examples and methods of how up-to-date, versatile, digital or even well networked media education can be today. Outstanding media projects with children and young people are the focus of the €12,000 prize.The Dieter Baacke Prize is awarded in six different categories. For the first time, nominations were also made: The 14 nominated projects were all presented and honored in streaming as outstanding projects of media education 2020. Eight projects were awarded the Dieter Baacke Prize 2020. 

Recht und Würde was kollaborative a poster campaign and exhibition of the LAG Kunst & Medien NRW, Selfiegrafen and the UZWEI on human rightsPeople of different generations and origins dedicated a media poster campaign to the question of what the individual human rights have to do with them and what they themselves think about them. The joint work on the posters set in motion diverse as well as transcultural processes in the artistic and content-related debate.
