Dortmunder U shows heart: Stylish black masks for visitors

The Dortmunder U shows heart in the crisis: From 26 May, visitors to the art and creativity centre will be provided with a free mouth-and-nose protection. The stylish black masks feature the logo of the Dortmunder U as well as a heart-shaped speech bubble; some also carry the printed invitation "Smile and Wave". The employees in the U will also be wearing the masks from tomorrow. In the entire U, as in all museums, it is compulsory to wear a mouth and nose protector.

In the Dortmund U, the Museum Ostwall (levels 4 and 5) and the UZWEI (level 2) are looking forward to your visit. The MO is showing its new collection presentation "Body & Soul. Thinking, Feeling, Brushing Your Teeth" as well as the shop window exhibition "60 Years of Friends of the Ostwall Museum" with the latest new acquisitions: three works by the US photographer Nan Goldin. At the UZWEI, the exhibition "Der kuratierte Kleiderschrank. Between Modelust and Fashion Frustration", which deals critically but entertainingly with the topic of "Fast Fashion".
HMKV on level 3 will open its doors again on 2 June with the exhibition "25 of 78".

International media art from the series "HMKV Video of the Month", which has been running since 2014, will be presented, curated by Inke Arns.

The roof terrace of the Dortmunder U is still closed.
