Digitaler Internationaler Frauentag am 8. März 2021

Unusual times call for unusual formats! This year, the Equal Opportunities Office of the City of Dortmund and the Dortmunder U therefore invite you to the first digital International Women's Day on March 8 from 3 p.m. onwards.

In addition to the welcome by Mayor Thomas Westphal and the awarding of the Dr. Edith Peritz Prize, endowed with 1,500 euros, for special commitment to equality work, many other exciting program points await the participants. They can choose from seven different interactive workshops on current equality policy topics or learn about their gene of charismatic persuasion in the livestream.

Maxa Zoller, the artistic director of the International Women's Film Festival Dortmund|Cologne will talk about her work and her exciting career. At a special edition of the "Butler, Butch, Beyoncé" event series, guests will engage in a cross-generational dialogue of feminisms.

There will also be an opportunity to take a digital look inside the Dortmunder U.

Participation is free of charge.

Further information on the program and registration can be found at www.dortmund.de/ift2021
