The polarisation of public debate is increasingly threatening social cohesion. Realities of life have moved away from each other and the willingness to approach each other and enter into conversation is diminishing. What role can "citizen dialogue" play here as a format for encounters and practical solutions to socially controversial and complex questions and challenges? How can this method be used meaningfully in voluntary civil society work against antiziganism?

The cooperation event on 21. and 22. February 2020 is intended to provide space for practice-oriented exchange and networking of initiatives and projects that are already actively combating antiziganism in our society. At the same time it should give impetus for all other voluntary civil society initiatives and projects to deal specifically with Antiziganismusin in their field of work. Together we want to work out what support this civil society commitment needs and how politics and communities can be involved.
