Yoko Ono offers her participatory artwork, Add Color (Refugee Boat) “as a learning tool for international journalism” in the context of the annual conference of the European Journalism Training Association (EJTA). The EJTA is organized by the Erich Brost Institute for International Journalism at the Technical University (TU) Dortmund.

Yoko Ono is one of the most influential and controversial artists of our time. She is regarded as a pioneer of artistic performance and conceptual art. Born in Japan in 1933, she has lived in New York for decades. Her artistic works include installations, films, performances, drawings and texts. A central theme in the life and work of Yoko Ono is her commitment to peace, feminism and environmental protection.
