"I WAS HERE" - who has not read this slogan on a public toilet or a house wall in the city? Whether intended for immortalization, self-dramatization or as a provocation, it often stands for a first attempt to communicate oneself to the world and the urban space. Not infrequently, it even marks the beginning of an artistic career.


Dortmund artists from the street and urban art scene show graffiti, painting, rap, photography and installations at the UZWEI in the Dortmunder U and give you an insight into their very personal "I WAS HERE" moment.
